We hope you’ve been enjoying this lovely weather because we sure have! The team has been quietly riding and racing here and there, as they build up for the mid-season. to many it is by far the most mundane day-of-the-week, but, for a number of norcal cyclists, tuesday is a day to celebrate. the reason? POO.
POO is an affectionate acronym for the Port Of Oakland, the site of a weekly training ride known to chew up the uninitiated and spit them breathlessly out the back of the group as it whizzes over manhole covers and across train trestles. Sounds fun, eh?
So, if you you know how to handle yourself shoulder to shoulder at speeds upwards of 30mph with 40 other masochists — come on down! and be sure to say what’s up when you see that sweet ass with BRITEsport logo printed on it.
