Chileno Valley Grasshopper
The second installment for the Grasshopper Series was Chileno Valley.  By far one of the tougher hoppers each year.  Besides the 80 miles and 8,000 ft of climbing, there is also an incredible amount of wind.  This year was no exception.   Race time was set for 10am.  At 9:50am they had us stage up and get ready.  It was exciting to see Levi there and in his new kit.  All 200 rides started to...

Sunday spin
Some of the boys went out this morning for the usual 4 hour Sunday jam. Kevin and his buddy Jacob joined Naveen, Joe, and David Bangor (Chica Sexy) for what turned out to be a pleasant day on the bike (although almost any time you’re on the bike with friends is pleasant!).

Knights Ferry Road Race
Early form shines through at Knights Ferry Road Race.  Naveen, Joseph and I met up at 5 am to drive all the way to Oakdale for our first road race of the season.  After almost getting lost on the back roads to the start, we arrived in time to register and decide how much clothing to wear for a 33 F roll out.   The course was pretty straight forward.  It was a 13.5 mile out and back loop, and...
